I want to make this. There. I said it. I do. I am getting perilously close to doing a lace project.

big business the small way

I just went thru one of sramana mitras pitches - you pitch your biz idea to her and she gives you feedback! Ack, it was nervewracking! I love this business so much I don't want to hear anything bad about it....but I didn't so that was cool.

Now on to the next phase - I have to stop sleeping - it is really getting in the way of my getting anything done!

I realize that it may not be the actual knitting that matters...

Since I haven't finished a project, in, lets say, over a year - I am coming to the astute realization that the actual finishing of a project may not be the end all be all for me. That said, it's depressing. I WANT to be able to finish a project. I want to be able to put it on and say - LOOK WHAT I MADE. Ok, well, there is  ONE thing I did finish a couple of months ago. BUt the sleeves are different lengths and shapes, and it didn't come out right. DOes that count? Can everyone but me knit?

Inspired not whiny

I've been so busy working my tail off for the past 10 years that, basically, I forgot to blog. Forgot it. And all the while around me crazed women from Omaha to Nebraska (wait, umm, same place, right?) have been posting every time they fart. Well, not entirely true - a whole bunch of them post when they do really good stuff. Like knit a lace shawl. Did I mention that I can't follow a pattern. No whining though, I'm only 50 - there's still hope.
